Primary Teaching Assistant (ASD – Autism Spectrum Disorder)

An exciting opportunity had arisen in a Hatfield primary school for a Teaching Assistant to support students who had MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs).

Your new school, an OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ school will welcome you to their family warmly and will be highly supportive. The schools therapy dog Evie and their purpose built SEND facilities mean that you are surrounded with resources required to flourish and a SEND Teaching Assistant.

The right candidate will have experience in working with MLD/ASD and will be familiar with KS1 and KS2 curriculum. You will be confident in working with students on a 1:1 basis, small group basis and assisting the class teachers where necessary.

The role is to start in early March and is an ongoing position for the successful candidate. This is a full time role and you will be expected to work Monday to Friday, 8:30AM – 4PM.
